1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Mouse Tests (mousetests.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

2. Diagnostic Scope & Permitted Use

Mouse Tests is an interactive, browser-based hardware diagnostic and testing suite provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial, and professional troubleshooting purposes. You are permitted to:

• Test and calibrate computer mice, trackballs, touchpads, and pointing peripherals.
• Evaluate microswitch contact chatter, polling frequency, scroll wheel encoder stability, and sensor smoothness.
• Export and submit Mouse Doctor diagnostic reports and certificates to hardware manufacturers for warranty review.

You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or execute malicious denial-of-service scripts against the static hosting infrastructure.

3. Hardware Safety & High-Speed Clicking Disclaimer

Certain diagnostic modules—such as the CPS (Clicks Per Second) Speed Benchmark and Switch Bounce stress tests—encourage rapid physical clicking techniques (e.g., jitter clicking, butterfly clicking, or drag clicking).

4. RMA Reports & Manufacturer Warranties

Our Interactive Mouse Doctor provides structured telemetry summaries (such as contact bounce intervals, chatter counts, and reverse-jump frequencies) to assist users with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) claims.

Please note: Mouse Tests is an independent diagnostic platform and is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by peripheral manufacturers (including Logitech, Razer, Zowie, SteelSeries, Pulsar, or Finalmouse). Final warranty determinations, replacement eligibility, and return approvals remain solely at the discretion of the respective manufacturer or vendor.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

All materials, diagnostics, and tools on Mouse Tests are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Browser timing resolution may be subject to hardware limitations, operating system thread scheduling, or browser flag settings. While our coalesced telemetry is engineered to provide the highest empirical accuracy achievable within web standards, measurements should be interpreted as diagnostic indicators rather than certified laboratory standards.

6. Intellectual Property

The Mouse Tests name, logo, UI layout, visual assets, custom telemetry scripts, and proprietary troubleshooting workflows are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. Unauthorized scraping, automated mirroring, or uncredited reproduction of platform code is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
